Stroke recovery

I had a stroke, and the physical therapist said it would take 8-14 weeks to heal. My hand couldn't move and I could barely move my shoulder.

So I got in the Egg and man, even just coming out of the Egg, I could move my thumb - and I couldn't do that before. That night I felt so much healing. The stroke was on the left side of my brain and it felt like my brain was healing and it felt like my right hand was healing. I called my sister and she said I sounded a lot stronger - she could hear it in my voice.

My speech was messed up, I could barely walk and couldn't use my hand at all. So I went from being told it would be 8-14 weeks of recovery, to going back to work in 3 weeks. Ruell Black
